🎈 What's more inspiring than learning from our little listeners directly? 🎉 Recently, we hosted a co-play session with 18 kids to discover what they do while listening to the Toniebox and which products they'd like to have around it.   In two 90-minute sessions, structured around "Listening," "Play," and "Create," we observed and interacted with our little customers, generating valuable insights for future product innovations. Here’s what we learned:   🧩 Interactive Stories: - Kids are eager for more engaging content: coloring, drawing, and DIY activities. - Parents appreciate interactions that are least distracting but highly engaging for kids. - Stories that include moments for movement (dancing, jumping, singing) are a hit!   📚 Learning Tonies for Older Kids: - There's strong interest in school-related content, language learning, and cultural education.   👥 Group Activities: - Opportunities for co-play in larger groups, such as birthdays and kindergartens, are highly appealing. - Parents and entire families are interested in engaging together with Tonies.   🎨 Art and Creativity: - Activities like coloring, drawing, and crafting while listening are very popular among kids.   These direct experiences and observations fuel our product innovation, ensuring that we continue to create engaging, educational, and fun products for our young listeners. 🚗 Bon voyage - but how to entertain kids on long trips? 🧳 😫 85% of parents admit to losing their patience with their kids on the road - we might have an idea for you 😉 📱 Keeping kids entertained on long road trips is a challenge for parents. 76% of parents admit that their children spend at least part of the trip in front of screens. This is despite the fact that 81% of parents would like to to see screen-free entertainment alternatives such as storyboxes for their children. 📊 These are some of the findings of a recent OpinionWay study on behalf of tonies® France, conducted between May 3 and 10, among 1001 French families. We announced our Q1 results today and have started 2024 with a 20% YoY increase of group revenue to EUR 78.3 million driven by a strong Easter business. 💰 📈   We saw growth in all product categories and regions. Revenue in the strategically important North American region rose by 46.9% to EUR 27.9 million.   Our CEO Tobias Wann comments: “In 2023, we achieved remarkable milestones, marking it as a record year for our company with exponential growth and becoming profitable on an EBITDA basis. As expected, we entered 2024 with an increase of revenue in Q1 of around 20% year-over-year and growth across all product categories and regions. Our Easter business exhibited strong performance, albeit facing supply chain challenges that resulted in some selected stock outs in the first quarter. As we progress further into the year, we anticipate a notable acceleration in our growth trajectory in the second half of the year, where we generate the majority of our revenue. The strategic initiatives implemented in the first quarter will play a crucial role to achieve our guided target of a growth rate of more than 33% in 2024. One such initiative is the launch of Clever Tonies, a new product category designed to engage older children with educational entertainment content.”

And counting... 🎈 Availability is key for love-brand products - and we continue to increase the number of retailers even in our most mature market. 🚀   From our humble beginnings to this remarkable milestone: In 2016, we started with small independent retailers, independent book and toy stores, where our first Tonieboxes were purchased. Today, most of these stores still carry our products, and we are grateful for this long-standing trust. Meanwhile, our Sales team has opened more and more "doors", as they call them, to make Tonieboxes and our Tonie figurines available everywhere, including well-known, nationwide major retail brands that devote meters and meters of shelf space to our beloved products.   Johannes Gründler, Director Sales DACH, celebrates: "10,000 POS in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is an incredible milestone. Back from our investor roadshows - and feeling incredibly energized! 💼 🌟 Following the release of our strong FY 2023 results on April 11, I had the privilege of traveling with Jan Middelhoff, our CFO, and Manuel Bösing, Head of Investor Relations, to Frankfurt, London, and Paris. Our goal was to share insights into tonies' notable +40% YoY growth and our robust EBITDA margin. 📈 These meetings are invaluable as they allow us to connect directly with our investors and discuss the future of tonies®. The feedback was encouraging, affirming the enthusiasm around our exciting journey ahead.
