We are proud to be part of a groundbreaking project that’s redefining the future of heavy-duty transport. The HyCET project, supported by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport, has achieved a significant milestone: the successful integration of the 13l zero emission hydrogen engine jointly developed by KEYOU and Volvo into a 40-ton truck by Volvo. 🚛💨🌍 This step not only marks a crucial progression in the project but also in our commitment to shaping a more sustainable future. Our innovative high-temperature insulation plays a key role in the functionality of this emission-free hydrogen engine, underscoring our dedication to clean mobility and green energy. We look forward to navigating the next phases of this project with our partners, further demonstrating the potential of hydrogen combustion engines in transport logistics. Important Milestone in the HyCET project: Marriage of a Volvo 40t hydrogen truck with KEYOU-inside 🎉 We are happy to announce that the HyCET project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr), has reached an important milestone. Recently, the so-called "marriage" of Volvo's 40-ton truck with the 13l zero emission hydrogen engine jointly developed by KEYOU and Volvo Group finally happened. Together with our consortium partners BMW Group, Volvo Group, DEUTZ AG, DHL and TotalEnergies we are working on the development of a 40-ton truck with zero-emission hydrogen engine. The project aims to demonstrate the sustainability potential of trucks with hydrogen combustion engines in transport logistics. A big thank you also goes to our partner Paul Group, who is assembling the truck for us. As we celebrate this achievement, we're already looking ahead to the next phase. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to drive innovation towards a greener future. #hydrogen #hydrogenengine #HyCET #hydrogencombustion #hice #sustainability #cleanmobility #greenenergy #innovativetechnology #heavydutytransport
