Hawk is the name given to the world's most powerful computer for engineering services. Located on Stuttgart university campus, this supercomputer is optimised for complex simulations. TECOSIM also utilizes Hawk’s computing power to enhance its own HPC resources as needed – during a peak in orders, for instance – enabling it to meet customer requests promptly at any time.   Want to know more about the high-powered computer’s impressive performance data? Swipe through our slides and see.   ℹ️ Hawk is provided by Höchstleistungsrechner für Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft GmbH (hww), a private-public partnership between the state of Baden-Württemberg, the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and T-Systems.   Photo: Ben Derzian for HLRS   #Supercomputer #Hawk #Simulation

The quality of vehicle seats plays a decisive role in safety, well-being and health for occupants. There are countless types of seats – not only in vehicles, but also in agricultural machinery and aircraft, for example. They all need to be robust and reliable and provide users with a sense of value. It is vital that they are optimally designed right from the development phase. Computer-aided engineering (CAE) is a key tool for development engineers in this respect. Among other things, this method helps with virtual testing and optimising the load capacity of vehicle seats. Computer-based crash tests analyse safety for both drivers and passengers. The effects of different seat positions and settings on driving comfort and health can also be simulated and analysed. More about the areas where CAE is used 👇. Our colleagues have many years of experience in analysing, testing and designing complete systems and individual components efficiently and reliably with the specific equipment for you.
