Key Highlights: ● Our new FrequencyCounter measurement class transforms the Time Tagger into a full-feature Omega-type frequency counter. ● Monitor 1 PPS signals from different sources using our latest PulsePerSecondMonitor measurement class. ● HistogramLogBins now supports variable integration time per bin, providing precise g(2) normalization. ● Perform faster and more reliable measurements with our Synchronizer, which now supports 80 MTags/s per device. ● Measure exclusive coincidences across multiple channels within a user-specified time window using our newest Combinations Virtual Channel. Empowering our team with First Aid Skills! 🚑 Yesterday, we focused on a crucial topic: first aid. With the goal of equipping our colleagues to be the first responders in emergencies, eleven team members joined the course. From making bandages for minor and major injuries to handling life-threatening situations, we covered it all. The course was both highly educational and enjoyable, making it a truly valuable experience for everyone involved. A huge thank you to Edith from the DRK for providing such practical and insightful training. The highlight of the Month: Inspiring Visit from Leading Polymer Scientists.👩🔬 We were happy to welcome Prof. Dr. Albena Lederer and Dr. Susanne Boye to Swabian Instruments this month! Their visit sparked exciting conversations and the exchange of groundbreaking ideas. Prof. Lederer, head of the Center for Macromolecular Structure Analysis at the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden (IPF) in Germany and the SASOL Chair in Analytical Polymer Science at Stellenbosch University (SU) in South Africa, and Dr. Boye, Deputy Head of the same center at IPF, brought invaluable insights about the science of polymer and particle characterization. At Swabian Instruments, we were proud to present the prototype of our latest technology, which redefines Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) measurements. Our DLScat offers a unique data processing architecture that makes particle size analysis easy and more reliable. It offers up to six simultaneous scattering angle measurements in addition to a digital dust filtering method that ensures accurate correlation functions, even with contaminated or dusty samples. 😺 In the dynamic world of scientific innovation, this visit has opened up new avenues for developing revolutionary solutions in the field of particle and polymer sizing technology. 😊 🎹 🎺 We love instruments 🎺 🎹 😊 Wednesday night was a truly magical evening as we had the privilege to attend a concert performed by our incredibly talented colleague Christof, playing the trumpet at the Steinway House in Stuttgart. This event was not just any concert, it was a tribute to his grandfather, a remarkable composer who would have turned 100 years old in April 2024. Joined by the brilliant Hsiao-Yen Chen on piano, they brought to life a selection of timeless compositions. Their performance was not only a celebration of musical heritage but also a testament to the everlasting power of music to connect generations. As creators of high-end technical instruments, we couldn't resist the opportunity to take a closer look at the piano, marveling at its craftsmanship and experiencing its exceptional sound quality firsthand.🤓 We hope you have a fantastic weekend and take the chance to enjoy some classical music.🎶🎹 🎺 🎻
