STUR x Cléo Public Relations Meet STUR – the latest addition to Cléo Public Relations' client roster 🍳 After over 7 years of reviewing cookware online and building a strong community, founders Simon Köstler and Filip Mierzwa embarked on a journey to create their own cookware brand, bringing timeless and minimalist designer cast-iron skillets to the market, versatile for cooking almost any dish. Through a successful crowdfunding campaign, they managed to raise €1.25 million for their debut product. This campaign marked one of the largest crowdfunding initiatives in Germany and resulted in thousands of pre-orders for their exceptional pan. Crafted entirely in Germany with outstanding design, the STUR pan has garnered significant international recognition, including the @Red Dot Design Award, the iF DESIGN Award, the German Design Award, and the Green Product Award. Not only have their products been acknowledged, but the founders themselves were also honored, earning a spot in the Forbes 30 under 30 in 2021. Currently, STUR offers both 24cm and 28cm cast-iron pans, in addition to a range of kitchen equipment. However, they have exciting plans for more in the near future.
