In an age characterised by increasing digitalisation and flexibility, the way in which we communicate is crucial to the success of our company. The needs of our employees and the accessibility requirements of our customers have changed significantly over the years. It is therefore essential that our telephone solution is not only efficient and reliable, but can also be seamlessly integrated into modern working environments. After some research, our IT administrators, Jakob Hetkämper and Christoph W., decided to switch our telephone system to Microsoft Teams. We decided in favour of M-net Telekommunikations GmbH as our service provider due to our many years of satisfaction. Why the change? On the one hand, our old telephone system from 2017 was now outdated, but above all we want to ensure that our team can be reached easily anytime and anywhere - whether in the office, on the road or working from home. This means we don't need any additional software or complicated interfaces - particularly practical for us as we already work with Microsoft Teams. Each team member now has their own landline number, which can be easily managed via the calendar integration. Whether forwarding to voicemail or to a colleague - everything is now even simpler and more flexible. This step is not only a technical improvement, but also enables our team to achieve a better work-life balance by perfectly harmonising connectivity and flexibility. AI in HR controlling?! AI has reached the mainstream - and the peak of exaggerated expectations. In this area of tension, it is important to categorise the possibilities and (current) limits of AI in HR controlling. Some Software4You Planungssysteme GmbH employees have been working on this topic for some time. They are developing the ‘4PLAN Buddy’, an AI for #4PLAN that will make our product an even better HR controlling solution for our customers. As a provider of HR controlling solutions with in-depth business expertise, a broad customer base and partner network as well as friendly and experienced colleagues, S4U impressed me as an employer. You immediately realise that you are not dealing with a one-hit wonder. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 - 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂? The range of tasks is very varied. I enjoy contributing my ideas to the planning and organisation of customer events, and helping to shape the external image of S4U is a very exciting task. I like the direct contact with our customers and it is always very appealing to convince new prospective customers of S4U. 𝗙𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 - 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆? My uncle introduced me to fishing when I was a small child on holiday in Scandinavia. I particularly enjoy being alone in nature early in the morning or late in the evening in summer, enjoying the cool sound of the water, sorting out my thoughts and escaping the heat of the city. For those who don't know it, I recommend the film "A River Runs Through It" with Brad Pitt.

Igor Simic Today, our consultant Igor answers our questions about what he likes about his job and his sporting career: 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆, 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝟰𝗨? I found the job interviews very interesting at the time and a new challenge with the opportunity for further training really appealed to me, as I was stuck in a kind of continuous loop in my old job, where the activities were repeated over and over again. S4U made a very appealing impression and I wanted to become part of it. I haven't regretted it to this day. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁? The variety and the constant new challenges that our customers present us with. I would also like to mention the working atmosphere within S4U, which is simply fun. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 - 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀? Now that the injury has healed, I haven't been able to bring myself to continue playing football again, as the injury is still in the back of my mind and the fear of a refracture of the Achilles tendon is still there. I'm now doing more weight training to counteract the muscle loss that came with the injury and to rebuild the muscles.
