One year with Pieter Derksen as COO at Saro: a look back 🔙 Exactly one year ago, Pieter Derksen took over as COO from Walter Spangenberg - and what a year it has been! A lot has happened at Saro under Pieter's leadership, and we would like to share these exciting developments with you. 💬 Pieter's focus on strengthening the team and transparency: From the beginning, Pieter's focus has been on strengthening our team. To achieve this, he is focusing on transparency and involving colleagues more in the processes. The feedback has been very positive. We are now more agile and faster than ever before. In particular, we have made great progress in product management and have created new teams that are actively involved in catalog development. 📈 Product range and inventory management updates: Over the last twelve months, we at Saro have done a lot: we have adapted our range to the needs of the market and our customers. In our new catalog, we present exciting new products. Our inventory management system and website are currently being updated as well. 🗣️ Transparent communication internally and externally Pieter wants to further develop communication at Saro, both internally and externally. In the future, we will communicate even more about our projects and product customization options. Because customization is possible at Saro. 🤝 Flat hierarchies and shared decisions: Pieter relies on flat hierarchies and makes important decisions together with the team. Every idea counts, is heard and, if possible, implemented in our team meetings. This allows everyone to identify with the company and know exactly where we are going. Review of the Saro summer party 🌞⚽ Saro's annual summer party took place in June and it was a complete success! All colleagues came together on our company premises to spend a relaxed evening together. The evening began with a cozy barbecue where delicious grilled treats were served. While the barbecue masters put their skills to the test, other colleagues cheered each other on in exciting games of football. As the grand finale, we watched the European Championship match between Germany and Scotland together. We are pleased to announce that our German sales team will be expanding our sales focus to the entire DACH region beginning in July! This strategic decision opens new opportunities for us to offer our products and services to a wider customer base. By pooling our resources in the DACH region, we will be able to operate more efficiently and strengthen our market presence in this important region.
