3rd EDITION OF THE ENHANCE SUMMER SCHOOL AT WUT The inauguration of the on-site part of the 3rd edition of the international summer school 'ENHANCE BLUE-GREEN-IN CLIMATE CHANGE 2024' organised by Warsaw University of Technology, in cooperation with RWTH Aachen and Universitat Politècnica de València, took place on July 15, 2024. Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Center for International Cooperation, warmly welcomed all the participants. The inauguration was also attended by the tutors from WUT - Anna Cudny, PhD and Artur Jerzy Filip, PhD from the Faculty of Architecture, Anna Rolewicz-Kalińska, PhD from the Faculty of Building Installations, Hydraulic Engineering and Environmental Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology and Anna Smulska and Piotr Szczepański from the Center for International Cooperation. The summer school consists of three parts. The first part took place online (1, 2 and 11 July); for the second part, students came to Warsaw (15-19 July). The last part consists of students' work and a summary and presentation of group projects (online 22-26 July, 31 July - handing in of projects). Through lectures by guests, group discussions and hands-on activities in designing, prototyping and testing their ideas, participants will gain essential knowledge and skills in climate change issues. Twenty-three students from five universities and four countries, among them the five universities of the ENHANCE Alliance, are participating in the summer school. Students who complete the workshop will receive a certificate equivalent to 4 ECTS credits. More information: https://lnkd.in/eGMCY2x
