If you previously thought that carded material had the softest properties, check out the new Reicofil XHL (EXTRA HIGH LOFT) and be surprised how soft, loft and drapeable a nonwoven can be! And it is even remarkably cheaper to produce. With finest diameters (close to one denier) our new XHL combines ultimate softness with high thickness and optimized drapeability whilst abrasion resistance is better than the current market standard – to name just a few of the properties! By downgauging - which is possible down to 16 gsm - the XHL products save up to 20 percent of the raw material compared to a traditional ATB carded without losing thickness and softness and the combination of PP grades allows for inline recycling of the material. We look back on three days full of talks and exciting discussions at SINCE. Despite the challenging market situation in China, we had the opportunity to engage in numerous fruitful conversations with both existing clients and potential customers. Our XHL approach, in which we can score points with less material usage, lower manufacturing costs and a better CO2 balance with the highest quality, has been the subject of much discussion. Our visitors were particularly impressed with XHL, recognizing it as a promising alternative to Spunlace.
