"Tech Market Pulse - Sentiment, M&A and funding activities" - Kai Panitzki took part in a panel organized by Drake Star and CMS Deutschland.   Together with Jörg Binnenbrücker (Capnamic ), Jan Sessenhausen (Cusp Capital), Julian Riedlbauer (Drake Star) and Klaus Jäger (CMS Germany), he discussed the relevance of #sustainability and #AI in new and existing investments. Heat pumps have proven to be a key tool in the global transition to #cleanenergy and have been identified as the most important future heating technology in several #netzero scenarios.   Researchers now presented evidence that #heatpumps are proven to exceed efficiency of gas boilers, even when temperatures drop below freezing.   Their study also highlights the high adoption per household of this technology by countries with colder climates like #Finland and #Norway: “These countries have installed heat pumps for decades and see the highest heat pump penetration both in terms of existing fleet and new sales.”   Our portfolio company Vamo accelerates Germany's #heating transition by focusing on heat pumps. Can robots solve the shortage of construction workers? - The shortage of skilled workers is affecting the #construction and #realestate industry and poses major challenges for the sector in course of the #energytransition and #decarbonization.
