Our workshop construction in Hamburg Billbrook is making excellent progress and RAILPOOL Lokservice was able to celebrate a successful topping-out ceremony on April 11! No less pleasing was the arrival of the very first locomotive for an initial overhaul in the hall section, which we were able to put into operation ahead of schedule. In total, a modern locomotive workshop, extensive storage areas and modern office and training facilities are being built on an area of approx. 4,000 m² using energy-efficient construction methods. #locmotives #workshop #overhaul #maintenance #rollingstock #career
Große Meilensteine brachte der April! Unser Werkstattneubau in Hamburg Billbrook schreitet bestens voran und so durfte RAILPOOL Lokservice am 11. April ein gelungenes Richtfest feiern! Nicht minder erfreulich war die Ankunft der allersten Lokomotive für eine erste Revision im Hallenteil, den wir schon vorgezogen in Betrieb nehmen konnten. Insgesamt entstehen auf ca. 4.000m² Fläche in energieeffizienter Bauweise eine moderne Lokomotiven-Werkstatt, umfangreiche Lagerflächen sowie moderne Büro- und Schulungsräumlichkeiten. 🚂📢 RBP GmbH has signed one of the first full-service leasing contracts with RAILPOOL for a total of five state-of-the-art Vossloh Rolling Stock Modula hybrid shunting locomotives. Both BDD (battery-diesel-diesel) and EDD (pantograph-diesel-diesel) versions will be added to the Siegburg-based rail transport company’s fleet in the future.
