Seid ihr reif für die Insel.....? Obwohl die Temperaturen so gar nicht sommerlich waren, hat es unsere Kolleginnen Sinah Keip und Elke L. diese Woche auf die "Insel" verschlagen. Die Kinderinsel - Teil der DRK-Kinderklinik in Siegen - ist eine Intensivstation mit Wohncharakter für dauerbeatmete Kinder und Jugendliche. Nach einer Führung durch die Klinik und die einzelnen Stationen gab es eine vertiefte Vorstellung unserer superweichen PVC Kinderkanülen mit und ohne Cuff und unseren neuen, mehrfarbigen und speziell für Kinder konzipierten Novaphon Sprechventile. So ging der Tag auf der "Insel" schnell vorbei. 😉

How long does a PDT take....? This of course depends on the physician and his experience. It is essential to have training courses first and to assist doctors who have already performed several PDTs. In this video we can see that the whole procedure done with our Percutrach set and a ProLine cannula only took a bit more than 3 min. - performed by an expert in tracheostomy. The video was taken in the Clinica Las Américas in Medellin, Colombia. (We have the permission from both the hospital and the patient to publish it).

Will you be attending the SOA Congress....? The SOA is the UK's most important ICU Congress. We will be around with our local partner Iskus Health.

Wie war der DIGAB....? Die intensive und umfangreiche Betreuung von beatmeten Patienten in der ausserklinischen Pflege gewinnt immer mehr an Bedeutung. Das Interesse und die Nachfrage nach unseren Primed Produkten war entsprechend hoch. 2 Tage standen unsere Mitarbeiter in Augsburg Rede und Antwort und durften sich über viele neue Kontakte freuen. Der DIGAB war die letzte grosse Veranstaltung im deutschsprachigen Raum vor der Sommerpause. Ab September geht's weiter! 🤗

In how many countries is Primed active...? We are selling to more than 60 countries throughout the whole world via a network of well-trained and highly motivated partners. To be successful we are attending a lot of events to promote our products. The first week of June was extremely busy with congresses taking place in Pereira 🇨🇴, Istanbul 🇹🇷, Osijek 🇭🇷 and Kranj 🇸🇮. Do you know our new CEO....? Since March Primed and HA2 have a new CEO - Daniel Schiel He has a long track record and held several senior management positions with well-known healthcare companies over the past 2 decades - like Sonova, Envista, ConvaTec and others. We have asked him some questions (Q): Q: Welcome! The first 3 months are over, what are your impressions? Daniel Schiel: Honestly, I would immediately just flip from impression to impression. Great people and teams. A high level of engagement and dedication. What a phantastic fit for our future. Q: Primed has a long history and several different product lines. What are your plans? Daniel Schiel: Primed and HA2 do already have a nice success story and a great history. Thus my plans do sound easy but as most of you know there are still some challenges behind it. Keep the momentum, develop the organization and culture and grow the business! Last but not least let us all have a lot of fun. Q: What do we need to know about you as a person and what do you do if you are not working? Daniel Schiel: I need to state that I love to work and work is a fulfillment for me. But my hidden critical success factors behind all this are my family and friends - if we can be up in the mountains or on the beach everything is even better. Thank you. We wish you great success!

Did you know that PDT becomes more and more popular in Asia....? There is an increasing demand for tracheostomy solutions and to perform a stoma procedure by dilation instead of an open surgery. Our Regional Director for APAC, Kai Hille, was in Indonesia a few days ago and did a deep-dive training session with our distributor Indoprima Bionet. 2 days of insights in tracheostomy and laryngectomy plus a hands-on workshop in Jakarta to demonstrate PDT increased the self-esteem of all participants and made them fit for presentations and chats with doctors, therapists and nursing staff. Additional time was spent in field meetings with physicians, who told us about their plans to make the PDT technology more popular throughout whole Indonesia. Further workshops with our Percutrach sets will be organized shortly.

Is Primed also active in Colombia....? Siiii! We will be represented on the annual ICU Congress next week in Pereira with our local partner Asecomes. ¡Nos vemos!
