As announced, we would like to take a closer look at certain aspects of the Topos study in the coming months. 👍 Through the treatment with our self-expanding nitinol stent sinus-Obliquus and the optional expansion with our sinus-Venous or sinus-XL Flex, we were able to achieve a remarkable reduction in pain perception in patients with post-thrombotic syndrome with iliac vein compression. 💪 At the beginning of the study, 87% of the participants suffered from pain in the ankles and thighs with a VAS for Pain (median) of 4. Just 3 months after treatment, this value was down to 1. After 24 months, the patients were pain-free! 🔝 We are grateful to be able to make a proven difference to patients' quality of life with our devices. #optimed #study #stent #qualityoflife #postthromboticsyndrome

We are really thrilled to present you the results of the TOPOS study. 🤗 It was conducted over for 24 months by the leading European vein centers to determine the safety and efficacy of an oblique common iliac vein stent in patients with post-thrombotic syndrome. Our self-expanding nitinol stent, sinus-Obliquus, was used, which could optionally be extended with our sinus-Venous or sinus-XL Flex. The result: A significant improvement in quality of life and venous functional assessments in the treated patients. 🔝 Would you like to dive deeper?
