The NEXCO harvesting module is an in-house development from NEXAT and plays a central role in the Widespan CTF System, where optimal straw distribution is crucial. A wide range of headers are available, including Draper headers, maize headers and sunflower headers, all renowned for their efficiency and reliability, with a working width of 15.2 m (50 ft). The 6 meter (19.6 ft) wide linkage frame ensures perfect stability and height control of the headers. With the NEXCO's revolutionary threshing system, the Dual Tangential Axial Flow concept, the 6 meter (19.6 ft) long rotor running transverse to the direction of travel divides the crop into two even flows. The crop flow is guided efficiently and gently. Two cleaning units, one on each site, with a total area of 11 m² (118.4 ft²), ensure clean processing of the crop, a high area performance and minimal losses. The NEXCO's corn tank has a capacity of 32 m³ (908 bu) and can be emptied quickly in less than 1 minute, which minimizes downtime. The straw is optimally distributed to ensure the build-up of an even layer of soil organic matter. The modular design of the NEXAT system enables the modules to be changed quickly and without tools, so that maximum capacity utilization and effectiveness is achieved by quickly changing the suspended module for cultivating the stubble directly after the harvest. #Nexat #Innovation #Farming #Agriculture #PrecisionFarming #SmartFarming #harvest #CTF

Barley harvest start in Germany 🌾 This week this NEXCO started harvesting barley in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In the NEXCO's revolutionary Dual Tangential Axial Flow combine concept, the rotor is positioned transverse to the direction of travel. The harvested crop is divided into two even crop streams directed to two cleaning units on the left and right sides. This efficient guidance of the crop from the feeder house through the rotor and cleaning system to the straw choppers ensures low fuel consumption, minimal losses, significantly increased output and optimum straw distribution. Planting Green with Alpine Bio and the NEXAT system. Alpine Bio produces plant-based cheese. As part of the project, soy was drilled into rye using the NEXAT system with the Planting Green method. The Planting Green method involves sowing into a still-living green manure crop, which is only terminated immediately before or after sowing the crop. The Planting Green cultivation system aims to maximize resource conservation, reduce the use of inputs and at the same time maintain land productivity. With Planting Green, the soil is permanently covered and thus protected from solar radiation, evaporation (soil evaporation) and erosion. In combination with the WS-CTF of the Nexat, maximum soil protection can be achieved.
