Am 10.07.2024 bei dem Abendevent des Verbandes ASCS werden die rund 70 Teilnehmer*innen auf eine spannende Konzentration von Wissen, Ideen, Möglichkeiten, Lösungen rund um das Thema #KI und #Simulation treffen. Ahnungslosigkeit ausgeschlossen ❗ 🙂 2 Paneldiskussionen, 9 Diskutanten, 1 mit Spannung erwartete Keynote, ein extrem fachkompetenter Moderator und der Verband ASCS e.V. - Automotive Solution Center for Simulation als Organisator der seit 16 Jahren das Thema Simulation treibt -was für eine großartige Kombination 👍 Die Keynote wird der heute 35-jährige Prof. Dr. Patrick Glauner halten. Ich persönlich finde: Besser geht nicht 😀 Mit 30 Jahren Professor für KI, berät er die Parlamente von Deutschland, Frankreich, Luxemburg, war Anfang 2024 Panelist im AI House Davos während des World Economic Forum und seine Vita bietet noch einiges mehr. Neben der Keynote wird er auch bei der ersten Paneldiscussion dabei sein und diskutiert mit 4 Unternehmen rund um das Thema KI und Simulation über Herausforderungen und Lösungen sowie während des Events gerne mit den Anwesenden zum Thema KI. Das Panel ist großartig besetzt: TU München (Johannes Betz), DLR (Frank Köster), Automotive Artificial Intelligence (Intakhab Khan), Kontrol (Andreas Lauringer), Rescale (Mark Fieldhouse), Ansys (Marco Lanfrit), PI Probaligence (Dr. Kevin Cremanns), Navasto (Matthias Bauer). ML application for Automotive external aero design using surrogate models based on existing CFD simulation data. This research considers a couple of automotive industry problems in perspective.     •  To utilize Aerodynamics CFD simulation data from previous vehicle development programs.     •  Quick design review, aiming at several folds increase in the number of design samples considered for automotive product development. What if the Engineer/Designer receives a quick inference on their design ideas with a confidence level ? Then, decide on whether to perform pre-processing & setup solver for the important RANS/high-fidelity CFD evaluations. Furthermore, we have been evaluating the impact of Graph Neural Nets hyperparameters, decimation resolution for model training, techniques to optimize GPU v-ram usage, including additional features in model training, and most importantly standardizing confidence level methodology for every inference. Working with the team at NAVASTO and their API helps us to focus on validating & defining use cases for the automotive industry.
