Second FIA WEC victory for Manthey PureRxcing in São Paulo 🥇🥇 Manthey PureRxcing wins the six-hour race at the Autodromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo, clinching its second and the overall fourth victory of the season for Manthey in the FIA WEC Endurance Championship. The number 91 Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3 R, finished the race in twelfth place after two collisions and resulting penalties. Manthey PureRxcing once again leads the LMGT3 team and drivers championships with 100 points, while Manthey EMA in second place secures the double lead in the championship. "I am very happy and proud that we have been able to win four out of five races in the FIA WEC Endurance Championship so far. This is something very special in this highly competitive championship. It's a shame that the 91 was involved in the collisions at the start and also received the corresponding penalties, so we weren't able to score any points there. Manthey product insights: The #Manthey TV Case 🔍 Designed for racing and testing, our TV case is equipped with four 16-inch and two 32-inch screens, providing plenty of options for monitoring and displaying data and race action. 📊 With three storage compartments and a total of twelve 230V sockets, it offers the advantage of plenty of storage space and power options at the track. There is the option of equipping the case with two lockable tool trolleys including another large storage compartment. 🔧⚙️   The TV case is connected via a self-retracting 9m extension cable. Two further 10m extension cables are provided for distributing the power to the left and right. The TV signal from the racetrack is fed in via a separate access point. A difficult #DTM race weekend at the #Norisring ends for us on a positive note for us with two Top-Ten finishes in Sunday's race. While Thomas Preining made up six places to finish sixth, Ayhancan Güven improved by five places to finish ninth. A post-race penalty moved him up to eighth place. A very strong performance from both drivers and the whole team! We were even more proud, because the day before we experienced a difficult race, finishing 14th (car number 91) and 16th (car number 90). Five #Porsche 911 Turbo S were in action at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, fulfilling their roles as Safety and Leading Cars. 🚨 All were prepared at our Manthey Headquarters in Meuspath. A four-strong #Manthey crew was also on site at the Circuit de la Sarthe to look after the vehicles. Why four Safety Cars? Because of a special procedure at Le Mans: Three safety cars enter the track at the same time at different spots to form three separate groups of cars. Once the track is safe, all cars regroup behind a single Safety Car (called merging) before the restart.🟡➡️🟢 With more than six hours behind the Safety Car this year due to heavy rain and some incidents, all Porsche spent a lot of time on the Circuit des 24 Heures. Interesting fact: The Safety Car period during the night actually lasted so long that the three cars were running low on fuel. As a result, the fourth Safety Car was deployed to replace the respective one that had to pit for refueling. ℹ️⛽ FIA World Endurance Championship Porsche AG

Manthey EMA wins the 92nd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the debut season of the LMGT3 category. 🏆 Richard Lietz, Morris Schuring and Yasser Shahin crossed the finish line first after 281 race laps in the No. 91 Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3 R. This crowns Manthey's return to the FIA WEC Endurance Championship with its first Le Mans success under its own name since 1999. In the meantime, the sister car from Manthey PureRxcing (No. 92) with Klaus Bachler, Alex Malykhin and Joel Sturm was in the lead for a long time in changeable weather conditions. Due to problems with the gearbox and a resulting repair, the trio saw the chequered flag in fourteenth place. In the FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 classification, Manthey EMA is now tied on points with the second-placed Manthey PureRxcing crew.   "This is the fifth time that we have won Le Mans and the fourth time that Martin and I have taken part. It's obviously a special event that you can't force. To be able to take part here with Porsche and then compete for the win is something very special, and then to achieve victory - that's obviously a dream. Being able to drive a car here at all has long been a dream of Martin and me. Unfortunately, the 92 dropped back with a technical defect, which is obviously a shame, as the car certainly had a good chance of taking the win. The victory with start number 91 was hard-fought and a great team effort - everyone gave their all and everything came together. That's what made it possible for us to take the win. A second place finish for us at the 24h Nürburgring after a premature race finish🥈 We finish the 52nd edition of the 24h Nürburgring on the podium. The Porsche 911 GT3 R driven by Kévin Estre, Ayhancan Güven, Thomas Preining and Laurens Vanthoor with car number 911 took the chequered flag after just 50 laps, making it the shortest race in the history of the 24 Hours. After the race was suspended during the night, it was flagged off early after the restart on Sunday afternoon after five laps behind the safety car due to persistent fog. The race result means the team's second win in the second round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.🏆 Read more: https://lnkd.in/ezjs6hGm
