It has taken a lot of brain cells, a lot of courage, a lot of creativity. But also a lot of effort and a lot of sweat to get here. But now we have arrived. As of this week, we have a new home and a new Mabanaft headquarters in the heart of Hamburg's HafenCity. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! 💚 ----------------------------- Viele Gehirnzellen, viel Mut, viel Kreativität, aber auch viele Anstrengungen und viel Schweiß waren auf dem Weg hierhin erforderlich. Doch nun sind wir angekommen. Und das Ergebnis ist überragend: Inmitten der Hamburger HafenCity haben wir seit dieser Woche ein neues Zuhause und ein neues Mabanaft-Headquarter. This could be the start of something big: Together with Wolf Energetik, a German company in which we have a stake, an important step towards developing a hydrogen-based electricity storage system has been achieved: a reversible fuel cell for storing electricity has been successfully put into operation. In combination with the FEREDOX® hydrogen storage system, this constitutes a pilot plant with a energy storage capacity of around one megawatt hour. And this is probably just the beginning. In Kombination mit dem FEREDOX®-Wasserstoffspeichersystem ist damit eine Pilotanlage mit einer Energiespeicherkapazität von rund einer Megawattstunde entstanden. Recently, our Senior VP New Energy and our Head of Storage visited the Dutch towns of Waardenburg and Tiel. Why there? Because they are home to the headquarters and LPG terminal of our new colleagues from Nefco Energy. Together with the team we were able to discuss the cooperation and our plans for the future. As a guest at the ILA Berlin - Pioneering Aerospace last week, our joint stand with aireg - Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany e.V. gave us the opportunity to explain how we want to make aviation more sustainable in the future. And what role SAFs, or Sustainable Aviation Fuels, can play in this. There was a great rush and a lot of interest - including a visit from the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Robert Habeck, the Federal Minister for Transport, Volker Wissing, and the State Secretary Oliver Luksic. Thanks to everyone who came! ---------------------------------------- Zu Gast auf der ILA Berlin - Pioneering Aerospace hatten wir vergangene Woche die Gelegenheit, am gemeinsamen Stand mit aireg - Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany e.V. zu erklären, wie wir die Luftfahrt in Zukunft nachhaltiger machen wollen. Die clevere Alternative.    Einige Tests zeigen, dass der HVO-Verbrauch im Vergleich zu herkömmlichem mineralischem Diesel minimal ansteigt, was auf die geringere Dichte von HVO zurückzuführen ist.    Andere Tests deuten auf eine Senkung hin – vermutlich aufgrund der technischen Eigenschaften, wie z. Can you believe how many steps the #ONEMabanaft people took in May? As part of our 'Marching into May' challenge, around 100 of our colleagues in Houston, Singapore, Budapest, London, Bristol and Hamburg got together in teams and counted a total of more than 30 million steps, thereby boosting their immune systems, getting more vitamin D, reducing stress and exercising their hearts. The team with the most steps will now receive £500 to donate to a charity of their choice. Well done! 💪 Unglaublich, wie viele Schritte die Menschen bei Mabanaft im Mai getan haben! Im Zuge unserer „Marching into May“-Challenge haben sich knapp 100 unserer Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus Houston, Singapur, Budapest, London, Bristol und Hamburg in Teams zusammengetan und insgesamt mehr als 30 Millionen Schritte gezählt und dabei ihr Immunsystem gefördert, mehr Vitamin D aufgenommen, Stress abgebaut und das Herz trainiert. HVO erfüllt die DIN EN 15940 Norm und ist von den meisten Erstausrüstern (OEMs) zugelassen.   Damit kann HVO als Reinkraftstoff oder als Beimischung zu herkömmlichem Diesel von den meisten Motoren verbrannt werden, ohne dass die Garantiebestimmungen verfallen.
