🔍 Understanding Ingress Protection (IP) Ratings 🔍 When purchasing outdoor lighting, it's crucial to consider the Ingress Protection (IP) rating. This international standard (IEC 60529 / EN 60529) rates the degree of protection electrical enclosures provide against the intrusion of objects, water, dust, or accidental contact. W zeszłym roku mieliśmy przejemność brać udział w modernizacji oświetlenia płyty postojowej w Porcie Lotnicznym Gdańsk, której generalnym wykonawcą była firma APUS.PL - https://apus.pl/ Dotychczasowe oświetlenie pracowało przez około 20 lat, a nowe pozwoliło niemal 4-krotnie zmniejszyć zużycie energii. ⚡️ 👉 Jakie było największe wyzwanie? Instalacja musiała spełniać wymagania, wynikające z norm i przepisów trzech różnych instytucji: ICAO – Organizacji Międzynarodowego Lotnictwa Cywilnego, ULC – Urzędu Lotnictwa Cywilnego i EASA – Agencji Unii Europejskiej ds. Bezpieczeństwa Lotniczego. Należało więc tak zaprojektować system, by nie tylko zapewniał odpowiednie naświetlenie, ale też niezawodność. Normy narzucone przez instytucje zajmujące się regulacją rynku lotniczego wymagały, by płyty postojowe były odpowiednio oświetlone. Ważne było, by nie pozostawić obszarów niedoświetlonych, mimo że cała powierzchnia postojowa była duża. Dodatkową trudność stanowiła konieczność umieszczenia lamp na masztach, których postawienie wiązało się z dodatkowymi kosztami. 👉 Jakie było nasze rozwiązanie? Wybraliśmy naświetlacze LED o strumieniu świetlnym 61000 lumenów i zamontowaliśmy je na wysokich masztach, co pozwoliło na równomierne doświetlenie płyty postojowej lotniska. Dzięki wysokiemu położeniu lamp, światło nie jest przesłaniane przez parkujące samoloty. Ponadto dodaliśmy dwie dodatkowe lampy względem oryginalnej instalacji, co pozwoliło na uzyskanie bardziej równomiernego oświetlenia. Postawiliśmy na oprawy ECO HP FLOOD 500W 857 VN 61000LM BK, czyli bezpośredni zamiennik opraw z lampami wyładowczymi, co zapewniło równomierne oświetlenie dużej przestrzeni. #LEDTOLEDVANCE  #Oświetlenie #Lotnisko #Gdańsk

🌟 Bayer 04 Leverkusen expands partnership with sustainability partner LEDVANCE! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our partnership with Bayer 04 Leverkusen, the German football champions and DFB Cup winners. Building on our successful collaboration since the 2022/23 season, LEDVANCE will continue to be the Premium and Sustainability Partner of Bayer 04 Leverkusen until 30 June 2027. This extended partnership marks a significant step towards enhanced ecological and social sustainability. A key project under this collaboration is the replacement of the floodlighting system in the BayArena, setting new standards in lighting technology and sustainability. "We were able to work with LEDVANCE in the first period of the partnership on lighting projects at the BayArena as well as around the stadium," said Markus Breglec, Bayer 04 chief marketing and innovation officer. "The continuation of the sustainability partnership in connection with the replacement of the whole floodlighting system at our home ground strengthens the joint endeavour and takes the BayArena up to a new level in terms of lighting technology." Thomas Fobbe, Head of Sales DACH at LEDVANCE GmbH, added, "We are excited to extend this equal partnership to support Bayer 04 Leverkusen with their sustainability goals in lighting and photovoltaic technology. The decision to install a stadium lighting system that exceeds UEFA Elite Level A requirements is a highlight for us, providing comprehensive illumination and show effects." Starting from the 2024/25 season, LEDVANCE will enjoy extensive promotional rights, including TV-relevant press backdrops, LED perimeter advertising, VIP area visibility during home games, and a corporate box for business events. Additionally, LEDVANCE will continue supporting Bayer 04's women's and youth teams. The project to replace the floodlighting system in BayArena began in late May, with completion expected by the end of July. The new system will feature a powerful, DMX-dimmable, colour-changing lighting system, enhancing the stadium's visual experience with 324 field lights, 60 RGBW Quattro lights for the stands, and 36 illuminated roof segments.
