This week, the district executive of the FDP Westfalen-Süd visited us in Soest. We had an exciting discussion about how politicians can support medium-sized companies like KuchenMeister. This includes, for example, reducing bureaucracy. As a company, we are currently facing many bureaucratic hurdles, such as the Supply Chain Duty of Care Act, the Disposable Plastics Fund Act, the certification of PV systems and much more. For us, a constant exchange with politicians is important and valuable, as this is the only way that we as a company can help shape and continuously improve Germany as a business location. The annual wine market took place again last weekend in Soest, the town where our company is based. And this year, a special stand was also there: We at KuchenMeister expanded the culinary offering with delicious bread slices from the traditional Soester Haverland bakery, which we rescued from insolvency. In addition, as a sweet snack in between, there were of course our new vegan mini cakes and our classic butter waffle rolls. As we were part of the Winzermarkt for the first time this year on the occasion of our 140th anniversary, we used the occasion to draw attention to the good cause. We had the honor of hosting an exciting workshop organized by Südwestfalen Agentur GmbH. Under the direction of Fabian Wahl, a total of 11 participants from various companies worked together on the topic "The perfect career site - attracting and convincing applicants" and were able to take a lot of valuable input home with them. KuchenMeister took part in the company run at Möhnesee and made a strong showing with over 50 runners and walkers! We received a great big delivery of new electric garden tools from Horstmann Gartentechnik.  At our second location in Soest, we focus on flowering meadows, fruit trees and green spaces in open areas - for which we also won the Soest Climate Protection Award. We now maintain all our areas where our sheep are not grazing using only electric equipment: Riding lawn mower, hand mower, brush cutter, blower, hedge trimmer. #kuchenmeister #sustainability #electric
