We are all set to decarbonize industrial process heat! 👉 We successfully pre-commissioned the Power-to-Heat plant that will replace natural gas as the heat source in a KRAFTBLOCK project. This combination of Power-to-Heat system with thermal energy storage on high-temperatures is one of the first of its kind and sets an example for other industries to electrify and decarbonize their production process in a flexible way. ⚡ ➡ ♨ Our Power-to-Heat plant converts surplus renewable energy into heat in the Kraftblock system. After the conversion it is stored at high temperatures in the unique storage of Kraftblock. Then the heat is brought to the application when needed. The system lowers your carbon emissions and energy cost by replacing fossil fuels with cheap electricity that occurs due to high amounts of green energy in the electricity mix. ✔ By pre-commissioning we can reduce the possibility of unexpected errors and ensure a high reliability. Due to the importance of heat production for processes, reliability is crucial as a problem can lead to a production downtime.
