✈️ Saarländische Gründer grüßen aus China In den vergangenen Tagen haben uns Grüße aus China erreicht. Das Siegerteam Portable Coffee Maker unseres diesjährigen Accelerator-Programms hatte sich mit seiner Präsentation beim Demo Day den Sonderpreis des Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang gesichert. Der Preis führt die angehenden Gründer derzeit auf eine Reise durch China. Das Team berichtet von einer „tollen neuen Erfahrung“, fühlt sich „herzlich willkommen und konnte bereits neue Kontakte knüpfen.“ Mit Fähzan Ahmad, Gründer von Klar2O - Microplastic-free water, ist außerdem ein Teilnehmer eines früheren Durchlaufs des Saarland Accelerator vor Ort und grüßt gemeinsam mit Doris Kettenhofen, Projectleader International Cooperation des oben genannten Instituts (zweites Bild). The winning team Portable Coffee Maker from this year's Accelerator programme secured the special prize from the Chinese Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University (YIT) in Zhejiang with their presentation at Demo Day. The prize is currently taking the prospective founders on a trip through China. The team reports a "great new experience", feels "very welcome and has already been able to make new contacts." Fähzan Ahmad, founder of Klar2o, is also a participant from a previous round of the Saarland Accelerator and greets us together with Doris Kettenhofen, Project Leader International Cooperation at the above-mentioned institute (second picture). „Entfernung von Arsenkontaminationen im Grundwasser“ Das war der Titel meiner Promotionsarbeit und es war mehr als eine Arbeit für mich. Als Chemieingenieurin und Wasser-Expertin liegt mir das Thema der Entfernung von Schadstoffen aus dem Wasser schon immer am Herzen. 💙 Schon immer heißt seit meiner Kindheit, als ich mich um das Fischsterben in einem hübschen kleinen Bach in meinem Heimatdorf in Luxemburg gekümmert habe. Aber das ist eine Geschichte für ein ander Mal. Auf jeden Fall freue ich mich immer sehr, wenn Menschen sich für Wasserqualität und das Thema der Entfernung von Schadstoffen interessieren und mich darauf ansprechen. Hilfreich ist es, wenn die Politik dem Thema Aufmerksamkeit schenkt, denn dort befinden sich Stellhebel. Als Wasser-Expertin habe ich gerne das Interview mit dem Magazin ÖkologiePolitik geführt. In 2019, this was one of the first events we ever conducted at Vali Berlin - Entrepreneurship Hub at ESMT, which is why it's always such a pleasure to come back.
