Three days full of innovation, inspiration, and joy - DMEA 2024 🔝 We attended Europe’s leading event for digital healthcare in Berlin for the third year in a row. Always impressed by the innovative ideas + the passion of the various exhibitors, speakers, and visitors🔥🔥🔥 This year more than 800 national and international exhibitors were represented at the event, 350 speakers were invited, and 18,600 visitors attended this fantastic event. On the first day of DMEA we had the honour to represent our hubs Medical Valley EMN e. V., SpinLab - The HHL Accelerator, and 5-HT Chemistry & Health in the Startup Area of the DMEA as part of the Digital Hub Initiative. We were delighted to see everyone who stopped by our booth! 🥰 On the second day, we were able to pitch our innovative solution for the first DMEA Nova Award in front of a great jury and a large audience. Out of about 100 applicants, 20 start-ups participated in four groups. As the group winner of the first round, we went on to pitch against the winners of the other three groups, living brain, Exploris Health AG and Fenjax, in the Grande Finale. While we did not win the final round, we were delighted by the atmosphere of the session, the great feedback of the audience, and the quality of all other three startups 😍 Congratulations to Exploris Health AG on your well-deserved win! 🤝 It was a great pleasure for us to meet and exchange with contacts and partners in person that we would otherwise only see online 💯Another highlight was, of course, the DMEA after-party at the Metropol in Berlin, which we didn't want to miss. Winner in the categories Social Impact AND People’s Choice at the ODDO BHF Young Entrepreneurs Awards 🎉 As one of the TOP10 startups out of 67 applicants for the first German edition of ODDO BHF Young Entrepreneurs Awards (#OYEA), we were able to present our product to a renowned jury in Frankfurt at the end of January. Not enough, on Wednesday evening we were proud to present our start-up to the Hessian Minister of Finance Prof. Dr. Ralph Alexander Lorz and over 300 other invited guests from politics and business, and were even awarded with TWO Awards in the categories Social Impact, chosen by the prestigious jury, and the People’s Choice Award, chosen by the audience. 🏆🏆🥳   We are beyond happy about the prize of 15,000 EUR, but even more about the contacts to ODDO BHF, the mentoring from their experts and the other partners BayStartUP Business Angels Deutschland e.V. Funding incoming: We won two DATI projects 💥 Last week, we had the chance to pitch two of our development projects in front of a great audience at the Volksbad Jena. The DATIpilot funding programme of the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung supports innovative ideas and projects as well as general research. 🔬 Out of 3000 applications, 600 projects were invited to pitch, and thereof, 150 have been selected. For these pitches, the other participants were allowed to decide which projects are the most convincing and vote for it. We are glad to have already impressed with both projects in this round. 😍 Further winners will be drawn by the lot. We are delighted with this positive feedback and, of course, the funding! 🏆 We do our very best to ease the daily life of people living with inco issues. This funding will be extremely helpful to achieve this goal! 🥰 PS: See the pictures for the funny comic drawings of our winning projects! 😃
