🚀 Exciting News! Honeysuckle GmbH Sets Up a Secure Cloud Workspace Infrastructure and Remote Software Development Environment for Airbus, as Part of a Joint Proof of Concept! 🛫 I am so excited to announce a major milestone for Honeysuckle, as we successfully set up our solution called Honeysuckle Bubbles for Airbus, a global aerospace leader! 🎉 By understanding Airbus's unique requirements and challenges, we were able to design and implement our solution that will significantly enhance their software development capabilities internally and externally. ✈ We‘d especially like to thank Hubertus Groepper, Life Saver Program Manager of Airbus Helicopters, as well as Balkiz Sarihan, CEO of Airbus Urban Mobility for making this possible! Here's a brief overview of what we did: ✅ Deep Understanding of Airbus's Needs: Through extensive research and close collaboration with Airbus's IT and engineering teams, we gained valuable insights into their pain points, enabling us to implement our strategy to allow complex development scenarios for distributed teams, while still maintaining the strictest data-integrity requirements. ✅ Based on Kubernetes, we developed a solution to spin up individualized development containers with automatic deployed role-based-access. This allows developers to connect to their containers over secure channels, either via SSH or fully web-based over HTTPS and OAuth2 (two-factors). We enabled automatic deployment of databases, datasets mounted through volumes, and provisioning of keys/secrets for external APIs. Employees simply log-in, select a suitable preset for their tasks, and just start coding from any machine without installing a single tool or even touching a single credential. 🔑But what about security? This is where Honeysuckle Bubbles beats the competition. Every workspace is fully locked down by default. Every dataset, service, or infrastructure can only be linked into this workspace if the user has the fitting role and permission. After completing a task, this workspace just gets popped like a bubble, leaving no vulnerabilities like passwords or logins behind. Honeysuckle Bubbles.
