Welcome to the TrueColors Conference 2024! A gathering for professionals from agencies, prepress and printing companies, packaging specialists, and brands. Andreas Kraushaar, Head of Prepress Technology at Fogra Research Institute for Media Technologies, explains in his session why he prefers proactive quality management rather than reactive quality controls. Kraushaar says, "The print quality system is not black and white," sparking a discussion: How significant is it whether a result meets or falls outside the standard? Using a practical example from REWE, Kraushaar illustrates how established processes from commercial printing can be adapted to packaging printing. Andreas Kraushaar is looking forward to the TCC: "As a scientist who primarily approaches things from a technical perspective, I'm particularly excited to exchange ideas with industry professionals. I'm very interested in customer communication, especially since managing expectations is crucial in color communication." Unboxing tomorrow – what will the future of packaging look like? Digital printing and digital transformation, sustainability, and consumer behavior. Engage and debate with representatives from leading solutions providers, benefit from exciting insights, and network with colleagues. Welcome to the TrueColors Conference! On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 9 a.m. at the Literaturhaus Munich. For tickets and updates, visit: https://bit.ly/3WhglUg #truecolorsconference #gmg

Margherita Trombetti, Project Manager, Policy Officer, Sustainability at AIM - European Brands Association, will speak about packaging and the circular economy. I am very much looking forward to the TrueColors Conference, especially to exploring new perspectives on packaging and engaging in vibrant discussions with the participants.” Unboxing tomorrow – what will the future of packaging look like? Welcome to the TrueColors Conference 2024! A gathering for professionals from agencies, prepress and printing companies, packaging specialists, and brands. Frank Plechschmidt, CEO of LABELISTEN, together with Daniel Pammé, CEO of KoRo Source, will talk about fast product launches thanks to digital printing. Frank Plechschmidt: “Packaging is becoming flexible, flexible, flexible. Flexible in terms of speed. Flexible in form. And flexible in design. Everything that can be replaced by flexible packaging will be replaced. Rigid packaging will transform into reusable solutions. With digital printing, issues like ‘long lead times,’ ‘large minimum order volumes,’ and consequently ‘significant investment in packaging’ become things of the past. This allows products to hit the shelves much faster, which we’ll demonstrate to the participants! We also look forward to making strong connections and expanding our network.” Unboxing tomorrow – what will the future of packaging look like? Welcome to the TrueColors Conference 2024! A gathering for professionals from agencies, prepress and printing companies, packaging specialists, and brands. Steffen Walter, Director of Prepress & Print Solutions at THIMM, invites you to his session “Digital printing – challenges and opportunities in the context of digitalization.” Steffen Walter: “On one hand, we face shorter delivery times, smaller batch sizes, sustainability concerns, increased private labeling, frequent design changes, and regulatory requirements. On the other hand, there’s the need for customer interaction, unboxing experiences, and reordering in eCommerce. Digital printing is an essential tool to meet these demands, and the need for digitalization is undeniable. With clear communication, strong partnerships, and a focused approach, transformation can be achieved successfully. I’m looking forward to exploring these exciting topics and the opportunity to network. In my view, the conference provides the perfect setting for this!” Unboxing tomorrow – what will the future of packaging look like?
