On June 27, the ICSM (26th International Conference on Science and Technology of Synthetic Electronic Materials), the largest conference in the field of organic electronics, will take place in Dresden. An absolute must for all experts who want to discuss the latest developments in conductive and semiconductive organic materials. The 40th anniversary is being held in Germany for the first time since 1990 and our institute director, Elizabeth von Hauff, will also be attending the celebrations. 🏆 And this year´s Hans Pulker Award goes to... Dr. Michael Hoffmann of Fraunhofer FEP for his contribution on Large Area Antipathogenic Surfaces Based on Sputtered TiO2 Thin Films and Inline Flash Lamp Annealing! 💡 🍻 Yesterday the participants of the conference had the chance to network in Dresden at the imposing Ball- and Brauhaus Watzke overlooking the Elbe river and the historic city of Dresden. During this event, also award ceremony for the poster prizes and the Hans Pulker Award took place. ✨ 🎓 The Hans Pulker Award commemorates the work of Professor Hans Pulker from Innsbruck, who was committed to the technology of thin - especially optical - films throughout his life, both as an industrial physicist and as a university lecturer. 🙏 Thanks to the organizers of #ICCG24 for this honor!
