🚨 Fundraising Milestone: Floy raises €5.4M Seed led by HV Capital 🚨 HV Capital leads Floy's Seed round with participation from All Iron Ventures and support by the continued commitment of existing investors such as 10x Founders, xdeck, SB21 and reputable angel investors. This latest round brings Floy's total fundraising to €8.8 million since its inception in summer 2021 🚀 "We were able to capture 14% of the German radiology market in just two years since its founding. This is a testament to the significant patient need we are addressing” says Benedikt Schneider, CEO of Floy. Excited to announce our first US advisor 🚀 Dr. Lawrence Tanenbaum is Chief Technology Officer and Director of Advanced Imaging at Radnet Inc. (largest US radiology group), having come from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York where he attended in Neuroradiology and served as an Associate Professor of Radiology, Director of MRI, CT and Outpatient / Advanced Imaging Development since 2008. Prior to that he spent over 20 years in the private practice of Radiology at the JFK Medical Center / New Jersey Neuroscience Institute as Director of MRI, CT and Neuroradiology. Moreover, Dr. Tanenbaum is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, and long-term member of the Radiological Society of North America. He is a past President of the Eastern Society of Neuroradiology, and the national Clinical Magnetic Resonance Imaging Society and former Editor in Chief of their Journal Vision. He is a member of the Roster of Distinguished Scientific Advisors of the RSNA as well as several panels and committees of the American College of Radiology including the Expert Panel on Neuroimaging and the CPI / Neuroradiology Expert Review Panel. Dr. Tanenbaum is a member of the editorial boards of several journals and educational organizations and is the Associate Editor for Artificial Intelligence of Applied Radiology.

Floy celebrates its 3rd birthday with ATOS Radiology partnership announcement 🥳 ATOS Kliniken, originally an orthopedic clinic group, have over 200 doctors in 36 locations across Germany. For more than 30 years, they have focused on providing individualized, top-tier patient care and ensuring patient well-being. Radiology ATOS Heidelberg uses Floy AI to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient safety. The Story of Floy! We welcomed the inspiring Leander Maerkisch to the show this week. Floy’s early success has been pretty staggering - securing 14% of the German radiology market in 2 years since founding. What’s interesting about this is Leander & his co-founder don’t come from a healthcare background. As such it’s a story of grit, determination and ‘building the plane in the air’; as well as the value of a beginner/having a fresh perspective on the industry. Floy announces 200th radiology partner: MVZ Prof. Uhlenbrock 🚀 MVZ Prof. Dr. Uhlenbrock und Partner is one of the largest physician-owned radiology groups in Germany. They operate 19 locations with >100 doctors and >650 employees. Their partner and executive Dr. med. Tobias Himmelmann states that “Outpatient care faces increasingly greater challenges.
