Product Manager at FläktGroup SEMCO Dorine Darling has been busy with her sustainable journey as she gives back to mother nature by planting trees and growing herbs and vegetables. A very sustainable practice and one that has great benefits for the environment. "I have been adding to my “collection” of plants over the past several months with those that are high on the list of plants for cleaner indoor air. Additionally, I have decided to grow my own herbs and vegetables in lieu of relying on purchasing mass produced. 20 years ago, I purchased a piece of property that was being used as crop land. After I purchased the property, I made the decision to turn it back into a more natural habitat for wildlife. On approximately 30 acres I have planted more than 7500 trees and plants. The trees consist of pear, peach, pecan, black walnut, persimmon, white oak, red oak, and various others. Additionally planted were raspberry and blackberry bushes."
