✨Jilly - The Versatile Solution for Any Application ✨ We're thrilled to share a peek at a recent project at St Mary’s University College, Belfast. For the temporary Library, our Jilly for track was used as an innovative solution to provide visual comfort and targeted illuminance. With our anti-glare Jilly luminaires, we achieved a beautifully lit environment for students and faculty. ♻ The best part? When the temporary library was dismantled, the luminaires were re-installed in the first-floor gallery area, seamlessly adapting to a new application. We see a thoroughly appealing and feel-good interior design in Precinct Properties' latest project in Auckland - but how was this inviting atmosphere of the space created? Blanketing the space with a wash of monotone illumination would have ruined the result. A solution with high contrast and visual appeal was needed to perfect the interior design around warm, ruffled leather seats and the numerous biophilic elements. 🌿 https://bit.ly/3xUsmpt 💡 The result is impressive and invites you to marvel - while our Iku downlights line the transition spaces with Iku Work in the meeting rooms, our Optec spotlights for track set accents with a mixture of flood and spot optics. We also played with the colour temperatures - 3000k warm white in the reception and communal area transition to 3500k for the movement area and up to 4000k at the workstations. Different lighting atmospheres for different requirements - the subtle change makes its contribution when it comes to human action and reaction. Ever wonder how exactly our Spherolit technology brings out the best in our projects? The National Museum of Qatar shows it all! A play of form and scale with the use of our luminaires showcases the cultural heritage of the beautiful desert peninsula. Using ERCO #Parscan spotlights, its Narrow Spot light distribution was able to highlight smaller objects and areas with its high light intensity. With ERCO #Gimbal recessed spotlights, the use of Flood and Wide Flood light distribution showcased the captivating structure of the cave and sand dune-like architecture. With its cardanic suspension, you can be assured of precise luminaire alignment. ERCO luminaires effectively stimulates the feeling of being in an angled cave, allowing visitors to simply be in awe of the atmosphere. With the use of our luminaires, allow ERCO to help bring out the best human experience in your projects today! 🔍 Discover more about this beautiful project here: https://bit.ly/3S0pG06 Project: National Museum of Qatar Architecture: Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Paris / France Interior & Lighting design: Koichi Takada Architects, Sydney / Australia Photography: Gavriil Papadiotis Place: Doha, Qatar #erco #ercolighting #qatar #architecture #museum #art #spotlight

Lighting three-dimensional objects calls for clever planning. The artist’s intent is often expressed from multiple perspectives – and viewers will see the artwork that way. The play of shadows becomes as important as the placement of light, and light around the object can be as important as the light that falls on the object itself. ‘Modelling’ refers to using accent lighting – a narrow light beam with high brightness contrast to the surroundings – to give good perception to shapes and surfaces from all directions. What is known as ‘the museum angle’ sees lighting designers defaulting to an angle of incidence of 30°. Research has shown that this angle optimizes the distribution of high, uniform brightness on horizontal and vertical surfaces, allowing form and texture to be revealed through light and shadow. Effective luminaire placement and commissioning ensures glare is minimized, both from the light source and from reflection off any shiny vertical surfaces. As viewers move around a three-dimensional installation, it is also important to prevent their shadows interfering with either the display itself or its light sources – a risk exacerbated by the use of higher angles of incidence. As the images here show, concealed and flexible light sources are the best, as they can be adapted for use displaying objects of different dimensions and materials. 🌟 90 Years of ERCO: A wealth of remarkable projects🌟 Over the last 90 years, ERCO has had the opportunity to realize many outstanding projects that reflect our passion for light and innovation. One project is particularly close to our hearts: the relighting of the Altar of Augustan Peace in Rome. ✨🏛️ The original halogen lighting concept for the building has been converted to energy-efficient, low-maintenance LED lights by ERCO. This sustainable solution not only delivers impressive energy savings of around 85% but also significantly enhances the visual quality of this historic monument. 💡🌿 What exciting projects will we encounter in the future? 🌍 We are eager to find out and would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for the trust they have placed in us. 🌟 90 Years of ERCO: The development of our trade fair booths 🌟 Over nine decades, we have constantly faced new challenges and developed innovative lighting solutions! But it's not just our products that have evolved - our exhibition stands have also transformed. 🔙 Back then: simple, functional, and informative. Our initial exhibition stands featured basic structures, printed materials, and physical product displays. Personal conversations were at the heart of engaging with our visitors, emphasizing our commitment to partnerships and customer interaction. 💬 ✨ Today: Innovative, interactive, and sustainable. Our modern exhibition stands impress with design, digital presentations, and interactive experiences. Sustainability is always at the forefront – from eco-friendly materials to energy-efficient technologies. Even today, the exchange with our partners and customers takes center stage – their suggestions and feedback drive our innovations forward. This year marked the first time our customers could actively interact with and experience light firsthand at our exhibition booth, rather than simply discussing it. 🌍 🤝 Our journey has been characterized by continuous development and a pursuit of perfection. At our exhibition booths, visitors experience firsthand the tangible manifestation of this commitment. Yet, our journey is far from over! 🚀✨ #ERCO90 #exhibition #innovation #sustainability #networking
