Die engionic Fiber Optics GmbH konzipiert und fertigt seit über 25 Jahren maßgeschneiderte faseroptische Lichtleiterlösungen und faseroptische Sensoren. Die kundenspezifischen Produkte werden unter anderem in der Kraftwerksüberwachung, der Medizintechnik und der industriellen Prozessüberwachung eingesetzt.     Extension of Management Board Team – warm welcome to Tobias Schenk!   We are pleased to announce that Tobias Schenk joined our management team in February 2024. As Managing Director of all engionic group companies, namely engionic Femto Gratings GmbH, engionic Fiber Optics GmbH and the engionic CNC GmbH, he will be responsible for the Research & Development team, all Production teams and Administrations.    Tobias looks back on 20 years of experience in the process control and sensor industry with management and leadership responsibilities in different R&D and Business Development positions. He will help us to successfully continue our growth pass and to prepare our organisation for the future challenges. Furthermore, we are looking forward to profit from his strong technological background and market expertise.    Dr. Margarethe Kampling, Managing Director since 2021, will be responsible for the Sales teams of the engionic group companies. This strong emphasis on sales within the Managing Directors team is the logical consequence of our very ambitious growth plan.    We strongly believe that our new management structure will make us even more successful in converting the broad range of market opportunities into continuous business success.    Tobias, welcome to the engionic team and a successful start!

    Meet us from June 11th to 13th 2024 at SENSOR+TEST in Nuremberg! SENSOR+TEST is the leading forum for sensors, measuring and testing technologies worldwide, presenting the entire spectrum of measuring and testing system expertise from sensors to computers. We cordially invite you to visit the engionic booth 1-553 in hall 1 and to explore our latest innovations in the Fiber Bragg Technology.   This year we are very pleased to present you our metal-coated Fiber Bragg gratings for high-temperature sensing applications. So far, a suitable high-temperature coating has been a challenge, since currently available standard coatings are limited at about 300°C. In order to take full advantage of the capabilities and temperature stability of the fs-FBG, it is absolutely beneficial to have a coating that can withstand higher temperatures.  With our specific new recoating process, that allows the manufacturing of metal-coated fs-FBG fibers, we have now developed gold-coated fs-FBG fibers and demonstrated the performance as a highly-sensitive temperature sensor up to 500°C. For even higher temperatures we are currently developing specific combined nickel-coatings, which allow the usage of the coated FBG fibers even up to 800°C.   Please contact us for further information.
