Last test drive before shipping! 🚨📦🌏 Our HEAVY MOVE is part of a new automation project at a leading global healthcare company. Its task? Together with four other high-lift transport robots from the VARIO MOVE series, it is being used in a state-of-the-art vaccine production facility in Singapore. Our solution: The HEAVY MOVE robot, which specializes in medium-heavy loads, will soon be transporting liquid-filled containers weighing up to 3,000 kg between different stations in the production area. Our expertise: With 61 years of experience in transport robotics, we are very familiar with the demanding hygiene and production environments in the pharmaceutical industry. #casestudy #beverageindustry In 2009, a leading German brewery gave us the task to implement a driverless transport system for a floor-level block storage system with over 10,000 pallets. Challenge accepted! 💪🏼 Our challenge: The beverage crates were to be stacked automatically and precisely on top of each other on four levels. The top pallet had to be able to be set down or picked up again at a height of approx. 5.2 meters. ⭐ Our solution: We mastered this intralogistics challenge with a tailor-made automation solution: 17 counterbalance trucks from the COMPACT MOVE series were used, which are optimized for loads of up to 2,500 kilograms. These forklifts are equipped with double forks and fork positioners so that they can transport two pallets at the same time. With speeds of up to 2 m/s forwards and backwards, the vehicles ensure efficient storage and retrieval of the beverage pallets on a 2,000-metre-long route. 🏆 Unique height: A special feature of this block storage system is its height. Thanks to our innovative 3D camera software, safe load transfers are possible. The forklift moves to the programmed target position, creates a 3D photo and evaluates it. The fork position is then adjusted laterally and in the lifting height to the pallet position, allowing the pallet to be picked up safely and precisely. 💡 #ekrobotics #agv #warehouseautomation

Now we are taking the next step and replacing the existing system for a future-oriented intralogistics boost! 🚀 We have developed three new transport robots that are perfectly tailored to the growing production requirements.
