Yes, remote work is still a buzzword, but no, it’s not just a trend anymore: It's a transformation that we wholeheartedly support for our teams at the edding Group 💻 Our offices might seem quieter, especially on Fridays, but this silence is the sound of flexibility and trust in action. Plus: We are very happy that we could find great talents this way, who joined the edding Group from all over the country due to the remote work environment that we offer. When we think of edding, we automatically think of the many markers associated with our brand. But did you know that we are also home to other innovative brands like Legamaster? This week, our colleagues from Legamaster joined us for the edding Community Day at our headquarters in Ahrensburg, bringing along their exciting roadshow truck, lovingly called Wheelie. With Wheelie in tow, our colleagues had the unique opportunity to dive deeper into Legamaster's innovative products and solutions. As a mobile hub of innovation, the truck is loaded with the latest presentation technology and interactive tools, showcasing how Legamaster makes communication smarter and more engaging. On today’s World Refugee Day, we want to raise awareness for people on the move and celebrate the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution. Our partner, Stiftung :do has recently been to Lesbos which is a key entry point to Europe for refugees. Visiting one of their funding partners The Hope Project (Lesvos) they witnessed the urgent need for summer clothing on site. That’s why we decided to start a spontaneous call for clothing donation to our employees and collected around 30 boxes of summer clothing in a really short time. 🙏🏻 Thanks to the Hamburger Hilfskonvoi e. V., these donations were successfully transported to Greece, bringing at least some comfort to the refugees with much-needed summer attire.  Of course this can only alleviate the circumstances a little, but that’s why it is even more important to always be aware of what is happing around us and helping people on the move as much as possible. 🕊❤ #worldrefugeeday #solidarity #socialresponsibility #withrefugees

How do I store edding markers correctly? Random question, but of course we have the answer: It is best to store our edding markers horizontally, for example lying in a drawer, at room temperature. This way, the ink is evenly distributed in the filter in the marker barrel and the marker can be written cleanly without residue drying in the filter. When stored this way, the markers can also be refilled as soon as they are empty. If the products are not stored properly with the nib pointing upwards, the ink could sag. The marker will then not be ready for use straight away. In this case, hold the pen with the nib pointing downwards and wait until the ink has run back into the nib. This way, your edding markers can last a lifetime 😍 #edding #factfriday #helpfulknowhow
