***News on DynaMesh®-ENDOLAP 3D (visible)*** VAS PAIN SCORE of ZERO and NO RECURRENCE at 12-month follow-up with no losses in a randomized controlled trial conducted by Suárez-Grau et al. Read more below: Suárez-Grau et al. conducted a randomized controlled trial to compare two peritoneal closure techniques (cyanoacrylate glue vs. barbed suture) in TAPP repair of inguinal hernias with DynaMesh®-ENDOLAP 3D (visible). 63 patients, 33 women and 30 men, were included. The cohort comprised 80% ASA I/II and 20% ASA III cases. According to the EHS classification, 65% hernias were L2 and 35% M2. The mean operation time in the glue group was 34 min compared to 40 min for barbed suturing, and the mean time for flap closure was 1.2 min vs. 3.2 min, respectively. Postoperative complications included six seromas (9.5%). There were no cases of bleeding and no wound haematomas.
