    𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐮 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬?   Temu, with 100 million users only in the U.S., is relying on the innovative Consumer-to-Manufacturer (C2M) model.   𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂2𝐌 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭? The C2M model sets new standards for consumer engagement, pricing, and production. Based on real-time consumer signals, like social listening on TikTok, this approach marks a shift in digital commerce.   𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤? Our colleagues Kerstin Richartz and Christoph Hosang have analyzed Temu’s C2M model. Here’s what they’ve found: 1️⃣ 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Temu uses real-time customer data to tailor products directly from manufacturers. This ensures precise production and reduces waste.   2️⃣ 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲: By eliminating intermediaries, Temu offers products at more affordable prices. This direct manufacturer connection optimizes the supply chain and cuts costs.   3️⃣ 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Small production runs minimize overproduction, allowing manufacturers to quickly respond to demand.   4️⃣ 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Production is driven by consumer demand and feedback.
