Throwback to last weeks THE LISSOME Slow Style Chronicle showroom at our iconic Bel Etage Salon. ❤️
Our hearts are full. This was a day of nourishing our souls by connecting with our international community of slow designers and celebrating the craft of fashion. We are grateful that through our first Berlin Fashion Week event, we could present a new pathway for fashion, one that is rooted in reciprocity, well-being, and a deep love for beauty and craft. In the last decade, a movement of slow and discerning designers has been growing out of sight from the spotlight, taking the lead from slow food and bringing a new appreciation for healthy soil and raw materials, preserving traditional textile crafts under threat from extinction, and understanding that caring and accountable relationships matter. It’s been a joy to bring them together in partnership with Dr. Hauschka DE, the pionier in natural cosmetics, and SO/ Berlin Das Stue in the first of hopefully many more showcases to come. Our heart goes out to all the beautiful brands who joined us in our first edition: Hamaji Studio, Studio Kristina Sipulova, Bunon, AVENIR ound, PEOPLE Berlin, faible and failure, Toino Abel, auprès, Zenzi Objects, Mona Osterkamp, Johanna Gauder, studio ēna. And to all the beautiful souls who made this day possible: Sandrine Demers, Hardeep Kaur, Yoko Iwasa, Felix Herter, Kristina Hellhake, Felix-William Schwarz, Becca Warner, Leonie Sinden, Paolo de Jesus, Dörte de Jesus, Tyla Jurgens, Philipp Köhler. A heartfelt thank you to Pukka Herbs for warming and calming us with their lovely selection of teas, and to Kruut for nourishing us throughout the day with their delicious and energising Ayurveda oxymel. In collaboration with STUDIO2RETAIL, Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, Berlin Fashion Week and Fashion Council Germany e.V. #studio2retail #berlinfashionweek Photography by Philipp Köhler, Felix Herter, Yoko Iwasa and Denis Grigorev for #berlinfashionweek.
