From insightful presentations to cutting-edge technology showcases, the event was a hub of inspiration and networking. We connected with industry leaders and discovered new opportunities. Some of them made us dream about the future! 💭 The impressions were overwhelming! We returned with bags full of brochures and many new contacts. Last week, Sophie Riedel and Marlene B. were inspired by ten fascinating pitches from other early stage startups within the chemical industry e.g. SeCaRa and Power2Polymers and had the chance to present CYNiO at the "From Lab to Market" competition. 𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 🎈 Work after work and at weekends, as well as meetings at 8 p.m. are now a little less frequent for us! We are thrilled to announce that starting June, Marlene B. and Sophie Riedel will be joining the CYNiO team full-time! Thanks BMWK for supporting our company with EXIST - Existenzgründungen aus der Wissenschaft funding. As co-founders, they have already contributed to the success of CYNiO, but now they are starting a whole new chapter by concentrating full-time on the further development of CYNiO and thus supporting Michéle Tille, who has been working full-time at CYNiO since January. Both Marlene and Sophie bring their expertise as chemists to our production. Their skills and passion will undoubtedly drive our innovation and success to new heights. With CYNiO, we want to make a valuable contribution to a more sustainable chemical industry. In our company, everything is about chemical building blocks, so-called isocyanates. With our innovative process, we produce these chemicals using CO2 instead of the toxic gas phosgene. These chemicals are used, for example, to produce various end products in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗬𝗡𝗶𝗢? Marlene B. is the co-inventor of the chemical process, takes care of product development at CYNiO and as a child, she was crazy about the Harry Potter books. She read parts 1 to 3 at least 10 times each. When a new part came out, she didn't want to wait for the German version. She bought the English version - and didn't understand much, but she didn't care. Sophie Riedel plans the operative production and takes care of quality management at CYNiO. For years, she lived by the motto "sport is murder". That changed completely during her time at university. Now she can no longer imagine life without exercise and even runs a sports course. Michéle Tille takes care of business affairs at CYNiO. She loves spontaneous decisions, but makes them far too rarely in her life. Since she has been in Vietnam for CYNiO, she lives and loves the fast-paced Saigon lifestyle. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Hahn is responsible for process engineering in the CYNiO team. Just like Sophie, he loves to be active with doing some sports, but he doesn't like the atmosphere in gyms at all. #cynio #justsayhi #team #founderteam #chemicalbusiness
