Our colleague Ate Weber rocking the "What's Up Digital Lending" event by Digital Lending Association and Finfellas in Frankfurt.    The event was meticulously organized, featuring an array of discussions led by over 30 esteemed speakers across multiple panels.   A notable moment was Prof. Dr. Thomas Weck's keynote address, delving into the complexities surrounding "Same Risk, Same Rules” in Digital Lending. This set an insightful tone for subsequent panels, which covered topics such as market trends, regulatory challenges, and the evolving role of fintech in lending.   As a panel moderator, Ate had the chance to engage with industry experts on the topic "Assessing Fintech Lenders – Can They Keep up with the Traditional Players?". It was very insightful to learn about the advantages (and some drawbacks) of investing though lending platforms when compared to traditional banks. All the more since two investors and one rating ageny shared their perspectives first-hand.   In addition to the substantive discussions, the event offered valuable networking opportunities. Attendees had the chance to forge connections and explore collaborations through well-organized speed networking sessions and post-event drinks.   In summary, "What's Up Digital Lending" provided a valuable platform for industry dialogue and networking. We're already looking forward to next year!
