🟠The Power of Orange - this is the theme of the annual cbs Summer Summit. With more than 900 colleagues from all over the world gathered at the Manufaktur in #Mannheim, we again set a new record this year. The cbs community came together to share knowledge, connect and, of course, celebrate. In addition to cbs, our subsidiaries Trebing + Himstedt, leogistics GmbH and p78 (projekt0708 GmbH) were also well represented. And it was a real pleasure! cbs CEO Rainer Wittwen perfectly summed it up: "Running on just a few hours of sleep, my batteries are inexplicably at 100%, and my muscles are sore from an overdose of laughter and nonstop grinning." Nice to meet you - again! 😊 Nach dem Auftakt im letzten Jahr fand am vergangenen Donnerstag zum zweiten Mal das cbs #Alumni Event in der Skylounge des Heidelberger Headquarters statt. Dass sich cbs zu einem so internationalen und leistungsstarken Unternehmen entwickeln konnte, ist vor allem unserem engagierten #teamcbs zu verdanken 👏. Einige Kolleginnen und Kollegen haben im Laufe der Jahre einen anderen Karriereweg eingeschlagen, viele sind aber immer noch mit #SAP verbunden. Mit unserem cbs Alumni Netzwerk haben wir eine Plattform geschaffen, die es genau diesen Menschen ermöglicht, sich untereinander und mit cbs über aktuelle Themen auszutauschen. 💬 Neben dem virtuellen Netzwerk ist es natürlich aber auch schön, sich mal wieder live zu sehen und über alte cbs-Zeiten zu sprechen. Und so fanden am Donnerstag einige der ehemaligen Teammitglieder den Weg zurück ins Headquarter - wenn auch nur für einen Abend. Zu Beginn der Veranstaltung wurden die Teilnehmer von Jürgen Remmert, Mitglied der cbs Geschäftsleitung, begrüßt. Es folgten verschiedene Vorträge, unter anderem zur Neupositionierung des cbs-Portfolios und zu unserer #AI-Initiative. 🤖 Abschließend ging es zu einem BBQ und #Networking auf die Dachterrasse. 🍹🌇 Dort hatten alle in entspannter Atmosphäre die Möglichkeit, in Erinnerungen an cbs zu schwelgen und sich über neue Erfahrungen und Jobs auszutauschen. Für uns war es schön zu sehen, dass die ehemaligen Kolleginnen und Kollegen noch gute Erinnerungen an ihre Zeit bei cbs haben und wir somit auf ein weiteres erfolgreiches Alumni-Event zurückblicken können. 🎉

🏆 The cbs Innovation Award in the category Audience Choice goes to… 🌟 The N-ERGIE project team with their automated solar energy grid feed-in request! 🌟 Using #SAP Build Process Automation and SAP #Integration Suite, the team skillfully automated end-to-end processes. As a result, they accelerated the bureaucratic application process for automated solar energy grid feed-ins from months to just minutes. cbs Solution Architect Alexander Buchkremer expertly presented the project in his two-minute pitch. The cbs definition of #innovation - achieving exceptional added value for customers through novel processes and technology - was brilliantly exemplified by this project. Facing stiff competition, the N-ERGIE project team secured its Audience Choice Award victory with a nail-biting single-vote lead. 🧡Two unforgettable days: The Summer Summit brought together colleagues from the global cbs family to connect, learn, and celebrate. Above all, cbs is a common learning and development platform for experts. That is why the Summer Summit kicked off with the Competence Day, a conference dedicated to learning where we share insights and innovations. The day ended spectacularly with the Summer Night party, where we created memorable experiences and strengthened bonds. We grew our culture, our community, and the friendships that make us strong. The second day centered on the Corporate Summit, a town hall focused on news about the cbs group of companies, with one special highlight: 🏆The cbs Innovation Award #ooooh Our culture, the Power of Orange, means working together towards a common goal and sharing knowledge and memorable experiences. The energy, ideas, and connections made over the past two days will continue to drive us forward. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to this event. With this many amazing people, even the fickle German sun couldn't help but smile.
