CBM is an international Christian development organisation, committed to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world. Together with our partners, CBM reached around 62.2 million people in 2023 Of these, 10.4 million received comprehensive assistance through medical treatment, rehabilitation, education, livelihood security, and emergency aid. This is a significant increase of 1.6 million more than last year, demonstrating the growing effectiveness of our work and the tangible differences we bring to lives around the world especially persons with disabilities. Our success in 2023 was made possible by the generous support of our donors. Co-financing 107 projects in 35 countries, partners like the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ), the German Federal Foreign Office, Lions Foundation Germany (Stiftung der Deutschen Lions), the European Union, the United Nations, and the United States Agency for International Development USAID significantly boosted our reach and impact. A new Disability Rehabilitation Centre at CoRSU Rehabilitation Hospital in Entebbe, Uganda, will provide personalised care to 20,000 patients annually, including children with physical disabilities.
