Our colleague Stefano Caffarra will attend the Solarplaza Summit #Italy in #Rome on July 11th.   With over 5.2 GW of new solar capacity installed in 2023, Italy is one of the leading #renewableenergy markets in Europe. The country has set ambitious targets for 2030, driving ongoing deployment. Additionally, as in other countries, #BESS is having an increasingly important role, making the Italian market one of the most interesting in this regard after the UK and Germany. However, there have been recent setbacks, due to a lack of regulatory consistency. INVL Asset Management via their INVL Renewable Energy Fund I secured a #HoldCo debt facility totaling EUR 17.5 million from an international #debt fund. This facility will support the capital required for acquiring and building a 482 MW portfolio of #solar #PV projects in #Romania and #Poland. Capcora served as the exclusive financial advisor to INVL in this transaction. Sun Investment Group (SIG) successfully secured a #debt facility to support its pipeline of mid to late-stage #solar #PV projects in #Poland with a total capacity of 1,970 MWp. The facility was entirely subscribed by an international debt fund. Capcora played a crucial role in sourcing lenders and structuring the deal, further solidifying their position as a strategic partner of the group.
