We have been up to something! 👀 We are a digital platform with a digital product, but this only heightens our commitment to creating tangible, in-person touchpoints with our growing audience. In our effort to push Out-Of-Home (OOH) initiatives and increase brand awareness in our hometown of Munich, we launched a local multi-channel campaign. Over 100 bus stop ads went live across the city, spreading the buycycle word with our unique design for a little over a week. However, we wanted to go beyond just bus ads, so we partnered with a local lifestyle media brand and incorporated a giveaway as a second call-to-action on the ads. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and while we're still evaluating all metrics, it looks like buycycle OOH is here to stay. 🚏 #campaign #buycycle

Records were set this past weekend at Challenge Roth🏅 And we're not only talking about the incredible Anne Haug setting the new Ironman world record for women, which was incredible to witness. At no other event did we encounter as many new customers as at this one. Engaging with the triathlon audience for the second year in a row was a very rewarding experience for our team, who represented buycycle at Challenge Roth the past week. Our carefully crafted booth setup and customer journey strategy worked wonders once again, allowing us to offer bypasses free coffee, present them our product and win over new members of the growing buycycle community. Congrats to all athletes who gave their very best in the races on Sunday, a big thank you to our team onsite and to everyone we had the chance to chat with. As a Junior PR Manager, I am responsible for ensuring buycycle receives media attention. In addition to working closely with the marketing team, my objective is to establish a trustworthy and long-term relationship between buycycle and various cycling media outlets. 💪🏻 What motivates you in your work at buycycle? The aim of making premium bikes more affordable and accessible to a broader audience, resulting in more people riding bikes and enhancing the lifespan of each bike, aligns with my vision. Furthermore, as I personally experienced the power of strong and diverse cycling communities in various cities, I would like to push that asset further by introducing new people to the world of cycling. 🚴🏻♂️ What does cycling mean to you? My mum always said that cycling enabled me to be independent from a very young age. I still remember riding my first children’s bike very well. Throughout my youth, my BMX bike was the center of my life, and everything else built upon that. In recent years, I have found a new passion in road cycling, gravel riding, and mountain biking. A weekend away at Walchensee - the buycycle offsite recap! ⛺ The past few months have been very rewarding at buycycle: The whole team has been finessing new product tweaks and bringing new collaborations to life. Even though the quarter is not quite over, we wanted to take the time to celebrate past wins and gather new energy for the final sprints of the season. Our teams from the US, Armenia, Berlin and Munich gathered for three days at Walchensee. We spent the time riding our bikes, hiking and swimming, participating in enriching culture related workshop and discussing what exactly makes buycycle successful and the place we all love to work at. Cheers to an incredible weekend of team building and to each and every buycycle member who is pushing limits. A big thanks as well to our People and Culture team, Madeleine Iamundo, Nina Wildfeuer, and Maria Carvalho, for putting together such a great experience for everyone.

As a Founder’s Associate I am supporting our CEO Theo with a bunch of tasks that he has on his plate. Next to that, I am part of our strategy team, and will be working on all kinds of strategic projects focused on creating the number one marketplace for pre-owned bikes. 💪 What motivates you in your work for buycycle? I absolutely love that everyone here is so passionate about our product! Walking through our office you’ll find a wild mix of ‘classical’ startup enthusiasts paired with passionate cyclists that love to spend every single minute outside on their bike and I really enjoy that combination. ☀️Do you prefer vacation by the sea or in the mountains? As a kid I would have said “sea” 100%. But moving to Munich for my studies 3.5 years ago has changed that over time. Now I’d say mountains for sure. I love being outside, clearing my head during a hike. Munich is perfect for that kind of stuff! #jointheride #buycycle
