At the invitation of German Federal President Frank-Walter #Steinmeier, French President Emmanuel Macron made an official French state visit to Germany this week! 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 Their three-day schedule also included a visit to the Fraunhofer IPMS in Dresden to highlight the importance of collaboration between France and Germany in ensuring Europe's technological sovereignty, especially in the field of microelectronics. Stefan Ruebenacke, Jens Neumann and Holger Conrad from #BoschSensortec had the honor of participating in this visit and presented our #MEMS µSpeaker with the help of an in-ear demonstrator and explained the development of this innovative technology, which originated at Fraunhofer IPMS. Bosch Sensortec has a long-lasting collaboration with Fraunhofer IPMS on technology development topics such as MEMS micro speakers. MEMS microspeakers by Bosch Sensortec provide a small, energy-efficient and easily scalable solution for wireless earphones and hearables and guarantees the best sound. Thanks to the patented and exclusively licensed technology of Fraunhofer IPMS, the sound is not generated with a membrane, but inside a silicon chip. An exciting Corporate Innovation Challenge of the Center for Entrepreneurship Reutlingen at Reutlingen University lies behind us! Together with bbg bitbase group GmbH and Murrelektronik, we provided exciting challenges. Our mission? To inspire young talents for semiconductor and collaborate on forward-thinking ideas. 💡 As part of the challenge, we set an exciting task focused on how #sensors can help to measure and visualize health factors, empowering us to make more conscious decisions. 🧠 Each team was equipped with three Arduino Nicla Sense ME boards, featuring our latest sensors, and received on-site support from our expert team. After witnessing the exceptional ideas and hard work of all the teams, it was Team HABIFY who won the competition with a groundbreaking solution: a virtual training buddy designed to instigate long-term behavior changes. Congratulations to Team HABIFY on their well-deserved cash prize! 🏆 But apart from the financial reward, the real triumph of the challenge was the passion and commitment of all the participating students, who inspired us with their creativity and drive to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
