In 2013 Otto Beisheim bequeathed his assets to two independent foundations of the same name in Munich (Germany) and Baar (Switzerland). Beisheim Capital, registered in Dusseldorf, Germany, manages the assets of the German Beisheim entities. The two-tiered structure of the organization clearly separates the non-profit and the asset-managing activities. The Beisheim Foundation established an investment committee that assists Beisheim Capital in defining and reviewing its investment strategy and in making investment decisions.
