At the end of the year, we want to say thank you to all of our partners and employees. You have made this year a successful one for all of us! This year our project "IdentiTI" ended and our new project "TIREZA" started. The "TIREZA" project is a BMBF-funded KMU-innovativ -Materialtechnik technology funding initiative that is researching the titanium alloy TNTZ-O, an innovative third-generation alloy, with regards to its suitability as a base material for the manufacturing of implants. The material is being characterized in various structural states and an innovative fastening system for implant-supported dentures is being designed. Both the material and the implant are being researched and realized in cooperation with our research partners in order to guarantee a broad spectrum of material properties for medical technology applications. On November 8th, we held a kick-off meeting in our office. We welcomed Prof. Häger of Technische Hochschule Ulm, Carsten Siemers of Technische Universität Braunschweig, Benjamin Schick of goodbionics, Dr. Patrick Voigt of Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG as well as Dr. Michael Gleiche and Svenja Kubo to represent the VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH as project carrier. Thanks to Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung for funding our project! We wish everyone merry christmas and a wonderful start into 2024! We are looking forward to it!

Foto: Das TiReZa-Projektteam beim Kick-off-Meeting in Gersthofen. Mit dabei Prof. Dr.-Ing. Congratulations to all involved partners in making this possble. We are all very proud of you. This is a good ending to our project, a milestone for implantology and a motivation for our ongoing research. Looking forward to reaching the next milestones! Lina Klinge, Lukas Kluy and Christopher Spiegel, cheers to all of you!
I am proud to present our latest research item. Nanostructured Ti13Nb13Zr for medical implant use. https://lnkd.in/eXtb6Z-a This publication describes our journey from a not yet established titanium alloy for medical use to promising results for enhanced antimicrobial properties and bone cell proliferation. I want to thank all co-authors, especially Lina Klinge and Lukas Kluy for their hard work. This work has been made possible by ADVANTIQX
