In Pilsen, we've officially started the installation of electrical equipment Škoda in the first of three new trolleybuses for Solaris Bus & Coach destined for Landskrona, Sweden. The €1 million contract for vehicle traction equipment was concluded in 2023. We offer our customers modern, reliable and sustainable solutions with a positive impact on the environment and society. The electrical equipment for the new trolleybuses destined for one of Sweden's largest operators, Keolis Sverige AB, is no different. After the installation, the vehicle will be tested on the roads of Pilsen, before being shipped to Landskrona. The new trolleybuses will feature high-capacity traction batteries and advanced diagnostic systems, ensuring flexibility and operational efficiency.

Hi LinkedIn friends! 🌟 Today, we had the honor of welcoming the Thai Ambassador, His Excellency Suwat Kaewsook, to Škoda Group. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate not only our strong international relations but also the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic and Thailand. 🇨🇿🤝🇹🇭 I would like to sincerely thank the Ambassador for his visit and the inspiring discussions. Our company values this opportunity to deepen the friendship and cooperation between our countries. And now, a bit of history: Did you know that 90 years ago, King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) of Thailand visited Czechoslovakia and the first place he visited was the Škoda factories in Plzeň? 🌍🚂 This visit symbolizes how history connects with the present and how our Škoda Group brand continues to play a key role in international relations. Today's visit by the Ambassador is another step in our journey to build stronger ties and mutual understanding. I look forward to more joint projects and successes! 🚀 #ŠkodaGroup #Diplomacy #Thailand #CzechRepublic #50Years #History #Future

We are pleased to announce that the Dopravní podnik města Brna, a.s. will expand its fleet by another 20 new two-way Škoda 45T trams. These modern low-floor air-conditioned trams will be in service starting in 2026 and will slowly replace the oldest KT8 trams. Miloš Havránek, Director General of DPMB, explained the usability of the new trams: "The two-way trams have a wide range of uses in Brno, especially on line number 8, but also during closures and restrictions." The investment in 20 trams amounts to CZK 1.5 billion. DPMB plans to finance this acquisition from its resources or co-finance it with EU funds or subsidies. Thus, the Brno City Transport Company will fully use the framework contract and acquire 40 vehicles of this type till 2026. Tomáš Ignačák from Škoda Group emphasised that the trams are Škoda 45T: "Our commitment to our passengers is unwavering, and the comfort of our drivers and overall safety is our priority, ensuring a pleasant and safe ride for all." We look forward to welcoming the new trams to Brno and contributing to modern, comfortable urban transport.

Yesterday, we hosted the Dev Tech Mobility MeetUp 2024, a conference dedicated to the latest technologies and trends in mobility. Our discussions were brimming with inspiration and innovative ideas driving the public transport sector forward. We extend our thanks to all attendees for their presence and for creating a vibrant atmosphere. Special gratitude goes to our speakers, who shared their invaluable insights. Josef Volek discussed "Smart Depot: From Vision to Reality," while Martin Hasal introduced us to "AI in Smart Depots." This event wouldn't have been possible without the support of our partners, TechTower and SIT Port. We sincerely appreciate their contributions! We are excited to see you again and to continue our discussions on the future of technology and mobility! #SkodaGroup #DevTechMeetup2024 #SmartDepot #AI #NetworkingEvent
