The 5 fundamental flaws of the Censorship filter

The censorship filter that sneaked into the EU Copyright review under the disguise of ‘value gap’, is probably the most flagrant illustration of a legislator passing on the baton of enforcement to private entities, whilst stating in the same breath that it doesn’t trust them to do the right thing (huh, so why should we?). Once again, we believe it is crucial for everyone to get a better understanding of the exact impact of Article 13 as proposed by the European Commission in the context of the EU Copyright review, an impact which is set out in this infographic (click here for a larger version or here for the PDF).
