1@Reine : Some dorms, if they shut down completely, will cut the power to the rooms. (and when they don't shut down completely, if you leave your alarm clock on, the students still there will do it ... and maybe others, if the panel isn't well labeled.)– JoeCommented Jan 22, 2017 at 15:45
