How live TV gets to your eye balls

I know most people won't be interested in the latest BT Group announcement about MAUD or 'Multicast Assisted Unicast Delivery', but I know a few are interested in how content gets from a live event to your TV screen.

The MAUD announcement includes a really good info video that I thought I would share as some may get value from understanding how this all works.

Interesting.

When you think about it, PAL was around for 50 years or so, digital took over the old analogue with a mishmash of SD and Pall and HD around 10 years before 4k knocked on the door but in the background there is the network that deals with it all, that shifts at a pace as well.
