Sherobod tumanidagi Surxon davlat qo‘riqxonasi hududida joylashgan Xatak qishlog‘i bilan Xomkon qishlog‘i oralig‘ida joylashgan. Toponim ikki o‘zak: “tangi” + “devon” dan tashkil topgan. Tangi – forscha “torlik”, “siqiqlik”, devon – kadimda beklik  idorasi joylashgan joy, Tangidevon – “tor darada joylashgan devon, beklik ma’muriyati” ma’nosini anglatadi.                                      Tangidevon darasi Ko‘xitang tog‘ini janubiy-sharqdan shimoli-g‘arbga yo‘naltirib, ikkiga bo‘ladi. Dara juda baland, tik qoyalardan tashkil topgan bo‘lib, g‘oyat go‘zal manzarani hosil qiladi. Uzunligi Xatak qishlog‘idan to Boshbuloqqa qadar 14 km. Daraga kirib borishda 1 km  yurilgach, Qaynar buloqning narigi tomonidagi Bandak qoyasining qirrasi huddi darani yopib turgandek ko‘rinadi. Yo‘l chap tomonga burilgach, dara o‘rtasi birmuncha kengayadi. Ana shu joyda yuqori va quyi bog‘lar barpo etilgan.
