when toggle format what by license comment
Mar 29, 2023 at 17:51 comment added Engineer Toast ="$"&UNICODE("𛼀") where the invalid character in there is U+1BF00. Counts as 2 bytes long so the total length is 18 bytes instead of 19 which raises the max salary to $114,432.
Aug 30, 2018 at 13:01 comment added Keeta - reinstate Monica @Selkie Accounting format adds a comma, which is disallowed. You could use a custom format of $# though. I wouldn't be sure if I should count this as 15 characters with =CODE("*")^PI() for $125773, or 17 characters (adding 2 for the the format letters) with =CODE(")")^PI() for $116603, or if this is disallowed.
Aug 29, 2018 at 20:10 comment added Selkie I'd argue with Excel's accounting formatting, that you can skip the $ entirely, and simply set the formatting to accounting.
Aug 28, 2018 at 16:04 comment added Aaron @theREALyumdub is that supposed to be a good thing? I'm not sure I'd take this salary if it means I have to work with Excel on the daily ;)
