I can pop my ears but often struggle, and if you've ever had this issue you know how annoying it is.

Since getting these and wearing them, it has allowed me to rest better and be more comfortable.

Of course, with your ears being occupied, you cannot wear earbuds. As for watching a movie or listening to audio, I always bring overear headphones. If I turn the volume all the way up, I can hear fine as if I'm not wearing these earPlanes.

This works well as pain relief and I wish I had known about them sooner.

As someone with inner ear issues, I've had my fair share of painful flights that left me with blocked ears and hearing loss for days. But these plugs made a world of difference. I used them on multiple flights, from Florida to Canada, Canada to Iceland, Florida to California, and each time they came through for me.

The key, I found, was using them just before takeoff, removing at cruising altitude, and re-inserting them ~45 minutes prior to landing. Just a word of caution, keeping them on for too long might cause some inflammation, but that's a minor issue compared to the relief they provide.

At the risk of sounding like a paid actor (I'm not lol), these things work! I went on a plane for the first time last year without knowing how bad it was going to be. My ears were popping to the extreme and it was so painful and very scary even. When I got to my destination I could barely hear anything to the point where I could not have a conversation with anyone. Even when I came back I could not hear for weeks and I had severe ear aches and constant popping. Well this year I decided to try the earplanes and they worked extremely well! I put them in my ear before take off and pretty much kept them in the whole time because they also help with sound. I will say that sometimes during the flight I held them in with my hands because I experience a little popping but was only a few times, like two or three. My ears are super sensitive so someone else may not have this issue. But I will say that my ears felt 95% better than last year. I could hear perfectly well when I got off the plane and was not in pain or discomfort. On my way back which was a 4-Hour trip I experienced a little more popping but it was seriously only 3 to 5 times and it was very minimal. I came home with a very slight earache but nothing compared to what I experienced last year. On the flight they work so good I literally started crying and I had to look away so people couldn't see that tears were coming from my eyes. I prayed and thank G*d in heaven that I found this product. I feel like my ears were saved from certain damage and discomfort. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I still experience a tiny bit of popping but like I said it was very minimal. If you have super sensitive ears like me I highly recommend this product.

My husband has always had really bad ear pain during the ascent and descent when we fly somewhere. It would take him literal hours to recover from the discomfort once we got to our destination. I came across these and got them for him. And he said they actually worked for him!! They were easy to put in, fit well & he had no pain during the ascent and descent. He did say they stopped working after they got dirty, so you will have to either buy new pairs or try to clean ones to extend their life a bit. So worth the money though for his comfort, and it comes with 3 pairs! But will absolutely be keeping these on hand for our future travels!

I have very bad airplane ear- worst pain of my life especially during descent. Chewing gum, yawning, eating, taking pain meds, decongestion meds, pinching nose and blowing, hot towels all did not relieve the pain when going on an airplane. I have bought this brand prior when I was a kid and it did not work, probably due to the size of ear canal and not fitting it in so that it is a tight seal. I am now an adult and used these earplugs on the airplane and it resulted in NO PAIN AT ALL. Just make sure you follow the instructions on how to wear them: put them in so that it is tight before the plane door closes, you can take them off when the plane has reached its highest altitude- keep them on even after the seatbelt signal comes off as the plane continues to ascend slowly after that (ask the flight attendant or check on the screen to see the exact altitude the plane is at), make sure to put them in again prior to descent, put them on prior to when the seatbelt signal comes on as they gradually descend prior to that. Or just keep the earplugs on the whole flight as they block out a lot of sound too. Overall very pleased with this purchase and will keep using this brand
